$3 billion in public investments

Public investments inject money into the economy, improve the quality of life of the population and have little short-term impact on government expenditures. Of the $3 billion, investments by government corporations will total $500 million.
Better meet the needs of Quebecers
Health and social services: $500 million more to build and renovate residential and long-term care centres and thereby improve the quality of life of people who are hospitalized.
Housing: $500 million to build or renovate 40 000 dwellings.
Education: $400 million more to improve the quality of instructional premises and construct schools and university buildings.
Culture: $100 million more for cultural facilities.
Early childhood centres: $50 million in additional investments.
Improve the competitiveness of the Québec economy
Road network: $400 million more for the Québec road network.
Municipal infrastructures and the environment: $350 million more for infrastructures for the drinking water supply and wastewater collection and treatment, and local roads.
Research: $100 million more for new research, science and technology projects.
Regions: special support is provided.
